This article explains how to receive and manage online orders placed on your website directly on your SalesVu POS. Online orders can appear on the POS app, the Incoming (Kitchen Display) app, and can also be printed to a kitchen printer.
Prerequisites
You must have an active SalesVu eCommerce website.
Note: Currently, only one POS device and one Incoming app can be assigned to receive online order notifications.
Step 1: Enable a POS Device to Receive Online Orders
Sign in to SalesVu.com
From the left-hand menu, click Web Store Settings
Select General Settings

Under Enable/Disable payment device to receive online orders:
Enable the POS and/or Incoming app of your choice
Click Save
Note: You can also use the Device Group functionality to sync online orders across all devices within a selected group. To learn how to set this up, please click here for more details.
Step 2: Find Your Payment Device Name (If Needed)
If you’re unsure which payment device to select:
Open the SalesVu POS app
Tap the Settings (gear icon)
Select About SalesVu
Locate the Payment Device Name
Step 3: Enable Online Order Notifications on the POS (Optional)
To receive notifications when an online order is placed:
Open the SalesVu POS app
Tap the Settings (gear icon)
Select More Settings
Scroll down and tap Show Online Order Notifications
Set your preferred notification time
Enable Online Order Notification Sound
Step 4: Print Online Orders Automatically (Optional)
Online orders can also be printed automatically to your kitchen printer.

What Online Order Notifications Look Like
Once enabled, online order notifications will appear on your POS app as shown below when a new online order is received.
Step 5: View Online Orders on the POS
To view online orders on your POS app:
Open the SalesVu POS app
Tap the Orders icon on your POS
Change the Order Status filter to All Order Status
Apply the Online filter to view only online orders, Or select All Sources to see both in-store and online orders
Your online orders will now be visible in the orders list.
Step 6: Expand Order Details and Manage the Order
To view and manage the details of an online order:
Open the SalesVu POS app
Tap the Orders icon
Locate the online order in the list
Tap the “+” icon next to the order to expand and view the full order details

From here, you can review the items and order details, and update the order status by marking it In Progress, Ready, or Picked Up.
