On your OrderUp app, you can enable a special recommendation category, 'New Additions'.
All your newly added items will automatically appear in the “New” product category so your customers can easily discover new items. Items added to the “New” category will remain in this category for 7 days by default, or you can set up a custom time limit. New items will also be available in their original category that was assigned.
Example: You’ve created a new BLT product and assigned it to the “Sandwich” category. The BLT will be discoverable in the “Sandwich” category and also in the “New” category. Meanwhile, a product that you created a week ago, “Goat Cheese Salad” from category “Salads”, disappeared from the “New” category and is now only discoverable in the “Salads” category.
To enable this feature please follow these steps:
1. Sign into SalesVu.com
2. On the left vertical menu, click on the drop-down arrow icon on the left top next to your name > click on 'Location Settings'
3. Click on the drop-down arrow at the right top > 'Recommendations Settings'
4. Enable Recommendation for 'New Additions'
5. To adjust the number of days that new items need to appear under the 'New Additions' category, enter the number under the 'How many days should new items appear under "New Additions"?' line
6. Save and sync the OrderUp
