Overview
SalesVu Marketplace supports Shipping through a third-party integration, allowing merchants to offer reliable delivery options at checkout.
- Supported countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom
- Supported carriers by country:
- United States: United States Postal Service (USPS)
- Canada: Canada Post
- United Kingdom: DPD
Shipping rates are calculated in real time and displayed to customers during checkout.
Important: Shipping fees are paid directly by the customer to the service provider. Merchants do not need to manage or handle the flow of funds for shipping services.
How to Enable Shipping
Go to SalesVu.com → Marketplace Settings (Join Our Marketplace tab)
Open Delivery Preferences
Enable Shipping
Set Package Dimensions (required for shipping)
Click Save
Key Requirements
Products must have weight defined under Products & Services or Master Catalog
If a product does not have a weight:
The customer will see “Product not eligible for shipping” at checkout
Placing an Order with Shipping
At checkout, customers will see live shipping rates included in the total
The shipping fee will appear as part of the payment breakdown
Shipping Details in Order Report
After an order is placed:
Go to Orders
Click on the order to expand details
You will see:
Payment breakdown:
Product total
Platform fee
Shipping fee
Payout amount
Generate Shipping Label
From the order report:
Click Generate Shipping Label
The system will:
Generate a shipping label (PDF)
Send a notification email to the customer with tracking details
You can:
Download and/or print the label
Attach it to the package for shipment
Tracking & Notifications
Once you generate a shipping label, a tracking number will be generated
Click Track Shipment to view status updates
Tracking status is also visible in the Orders Report
The customer receives an email with:
Tracking number
Tracking link
Cancel Shipment
If you need to cancel a shipment:
Go to Orders Report
Click Cancel Shipment
Enter a reason for cancellation
The customer will receive a notification email confirming the cancellation
Re-generate Shipping Label
After canceling, you can generate a new shipping label under the same order report
A new tracking number will be issued
The customer will receive an updated notification
Refunds & Important Notes
- Always cancel the shipment before issuing a refund
Partial refunds:
- Shipping fees are not refunded
Full refunds:
- Before shipping label generation:
- The customer receives a full refund, including shipping and platform fees
- After shipping label generation:
- Shipping and platform fees are non-refundable
