You can allow customers to select a dine-in time when placing an online order. After enabling this feature, customers can choose whether they want to dine in now or schedule for later, and they’ll also be able to select a table.
Once the order is placed, the chosen dine-in time will appear on reports and in the Incoming (Kitchen Display) app so your staff knows exactly when to prepare the order.
How to Enable Time Slots for Dine-In Orders
Go to salesvu.com and log in.
On the left vertical menu, select Web Store Settings.
Click Delivery Preferences.
Check the option for Dine-in, then click Configure Dine-in Times to set up your available time slots.
(Optional) If you do not want customers to see or select a specific table name during the booking process, turn ON (green) the setting Hide Tables/Resources from Customers.
Click Save to apply your settings.
How It Works After Enabling
On your E-commerce ordering page, customers will:
Choose Dine-In
Decide whether they want it now or schedule a time
Select a table (required to proceed)
In your Order Report, you’ll see the dine-in time and can edit it if needed.
On the Incoming (Kitchen Display) app, each dine-in order will display with the scheduled time, helping your team prepare orders accurately.
