Please identify your printer by viewing the label on the bottom of the printer to ensure that it is a network printer. Examples below:

- A blinking light on the printer indicates that the printer is unable to recognize the IP address on the network. Check your network and ensure that it is properly working. Generally turning off and on the wireless router and internet modem may address this issue. Also, check and make sure that the paper is correctly inserted. Open the printer's lid and check the paper
- Open SalesVu POS app > touch on the gear icon at the right top > touch on 'Search for Printers' > Perform a test print if the printer is found. Touch on the checkmark icon to select the printer if it's greyed out
- Verify that paper is properly inserted
- Turn off the printer
- Hold down the ‘Feed’ button (do not let go)
- Turn on the printer
- Release the ‘Feed’ button after 8 seconds
- Two large receipts will print
- View the IP address on the second printout under “IP PARAMETER STATUS”
If IP address is showing 0.0.0.0.0 it means that the printer is not connected to your WiFi router.
- Check if SalesVu POS app has access to local network. Go to 'Settings' of your iPad > touch on 'SalesVu POS app' > check if 'Local Network' access is enabled
- Make sure that both iPad and printer are connected to the same WiFi network. Most issues are caused by devices not being on the same network. If you are certain that both iPad and printer are on the same network but SalesVu app is still not seeing the printer, download the following app: App Name: 'StarPRNT SDK'. Open the app > select printer type (LAN or WiFi) > check if the app finds your printer. If it is not finding the printer, it means that there is an issue with your network setup. Please contact a network or IT specialist and ask them to help you with your network setup
