Overview
In SalesVu, if you use Square as your payment processor, you can securely save customer credit cards for future payments. This feature speeds up repeat transactions, reduces checkout friction, and improves customer convenience.
📌 Note: This feature is currently available only for the Square payment processor.

How It Works
- Save a customer’s card directly in their profile 
- View or remove previously saved cards 
- Customers can opt to save their card when paying an invoice 
- You can charge saved cards for: - Invoices 
- Open orders 
- One-time payments 
 
- Employee permission control for: - Viewing, saving and charging cards 
 
Steps to Save and Use a Card
1. Employee Permissions
- Go to Employees → Access Levels → edit an employee's access levels 
- Enable or disable the ability to Manage Saved Customer Cards (Add, View and Charge) 
2. Save & Manage a Card in a Customer Profile
- Go to Customers → Select Customer Profile 
- Tap Add Card → Enter card details → Save 
- Saved cards appear under the customer’s profile. You can also remove them by clicking the 'trash' icon. 
📌 Note: An email address is required to add a customer’s card.
3. Charge a Saved Card
- From Orders or Invoices, select the customer 
- Choose a saved card on file, confirm and process the payment 
- If you are sending an invoice, you can choose whether you want to send an invoice only or charge a card and email receipt
