These types of appointments are compatible with spas, salons, and any business that offers services. This feature requires employee schedules, tables/rooms/stations, and services to be created. Appointments are available on the Welcome by SalesVu app, online webstore, and SalesVu dashboard. The times available for booking appointments are based on the employee’s schedule. Each step must be done in the following order:
1. Add employees
- Sign into SalesVu.com -> Click on the ‘Employees’ on the menu
- Click on ‘Add Employee’ and complete the profile
- PIN number and location must be configured
2. Create schedules for employees
- Sign into SalesVu.com -> Click on the ‘Employees’ on the menu
- Click on ‘Scheduler’
- Drag on the calendar to create the schedules for each employee until completion
3. Create tables or workstations using the table layout
- Sign into SalesVu.com -> Appointments
- Click on ‘Layout’
- Add your tables and assign the shape and max capacity until completion
- Assign the employee (staff member) to that table or workstation
4. Create Services
- Sign into SalesVu.com -> Products and Services
- Click on ‘add product’
- Enter name, selling price, description, category, and tax
- Select ‘type’ as service
- Select ‘duration’ of the service
- Select ‘service type’ as ‘appointments’
- Session package type: configure one of the following below based on the type of service offered.
One service / class (single-use service)
- Employees (assign the employees to the service)
- Resources (assign the chair or station to the service
OR
Limited Sessions (limited number of sessions in a package)
- Set the session count (the number of sessions in the package)
- Set the expiration days (number of days the package should expire)
- Session package start date (this can be set as the day the package was purchased or the first booking date)
- Employees (assign the employees to the service)
- Resources (assign the chair or station to the service)
