The general settings are mainly for enabling devices to receive online orders, here, you can also update other notifications, such as email addresses to get notified about online orders, configure orders to be manually or automatically closed, and other options below this article. Let's take a look at them:
Enable/Disable payment device to receive online orders
1. Sign in to Salesvu.com
2. Click on "Web Store" on the left-hand menu and select "Settings" on the following page
3. Choose your location in the upper left, and toggle the device you want to enable for online orders
4. Click the "Save" button in the bottom right corner
Note: It allows you to select two devices only if one device is a POS app and another is an Incoming app.
You can also configure the following settings for E-Commerce orders:
Enable Donation: with this option enabled, your customers will have the ability to round up their payment to the nearest whole dollar and make a contribution
Donation Label: enter a short message for the donation option (e.g., 'Your contribution helps support...')
Add custom fields as order comment in order reports
Allow customer to sign a Terms and Agreements form, When customer do signup
Optional email address on guest checkout
Email notifications for online orders (Notification email address). Here you can add multiple email addresses separated by 'TAB'.
Order review setting:
- Review orders upon reception and close them manually from iPhone, iPad, or SalesVu.com
- Automatically consider orders as processed/paid as soon as they are placed on your website
