In this article, you will be given the instructions to configure the delivery preference and the delivery price for E-Commerce.
1. Sign in to SalesVu.com
2. Click on the "Web Store" section on the left-hand menu and click on "Enable/Disable Products"
3. Next, select "Delivery Preferences" on top and click on the drop-down in the upper left to choose a location
4. Now let's review each option starting with "Delivery"
Delivery
The delivery option helps you deliver your items to customers within your local area. To enable this option, click the checkmark box next to "Delivery and you can set the minimum order amount ($) just below this column. Now let's review each button for the delivery configuration.
"Configure Delivery Price" - here you can configure delivery prices, options are below:
a. Flat
b. By Order Amount (click on "Add more" to add more options)
c. By Order Weight (products need to be configured in weight for inventor tracking. You can select a type of weight, to add more options, scroll down and click "Add More")
d. Free shipping based on the amount spent
"Configure Delivery Times" - in this part, you can configure delivery times, enable the ASAP delivery option and enable the delivery option by seat number
"Minimum Delay" - here you can configure the minimum delay for delivery
"Delivery Zip Codes" - here you can enter the zip code(s) for the delivery
"Configure Default Value" - here you can either use your business's address or customize it to send out the items.
Dine-in
Dine-in option is quite a useful feature for restaurant businesses that lets customers online order and enjoy their meals in the restaurant. Make the toggle "Yes" if you do not want customers to see the tables while ordering online.
Pickup
The pickup feature allows customers to order online and pick up their order in the store once it's ready. First, click the checkmark box to enable this option, and you can set the minimum order amount as well. Let's review each configuration setting:
"Configure Pickup Times" - here, you can configure pickup times, and enable the ASAP pickup option. Click "Add More" to add more time slots
"Minimum Delay" - here you can configure the minimum delay
"Curbside Pickup Settings" - this setting lets customers place an online order, then pick it up from a physical store. Upon arrival, customers wait in a specific area to get the order from the store employee.
Shipping
The shipping option helps you send items to customers across other states and countries. To enable this option, click the checkmark box next to "Shipping", you can set the minimum order amount ($) just below this column. Now let's review each button for the shipping configuration
"Configure Shipping Price" - here you can configure the shipping prices, options are below:
a. Free shipping based on the amount spent
b. Flat
c. By Order Amount (click on "Add more" to add more options)
d. By Order Weight (products need to be configured in weight for inventor tracking. You can select a type of weight, to add more options, scroll down and click "Add More")
e. By UPS (make sure to fill out each option presented on the screen)
International Shipping Price
If you wish to set up the international shipping price, please ensure that you've enabled the toggle for 'Do you want to configure the international shipping price?
After enabling it, you will notice the 'Configure International Shipping Price' button. Simply click on it to establish the shipping fees for orders being sent internationally.
"Once configured, whenever a customer selects a foreign country on your webpage, the international shipping fee will be automatically applied.
You can also configure some other settings for your online store as below:
"Closed For Holidays" - here you can configure holiday dates and times to avoid receiving online orders
"Disable Home Page Delivery Preferences Option Pop-up"
"Do not ask for Zip/Postal Code for delivery and shipping address"
"Add PickUp Address" - Only enter delivery options if "Pickup" is enabled and you want to give multiple pickup points/locations other than your business location
