Overview:
SalesVu allows you to add a tracking number to an online order and include it in the email notification sent to the customer.
How to Enable This Feature:
- Log in to your SalesVu account at salesvu.com
- Navigate to Orders
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner to access Order Settings
- Enable "Do you want to ask for a tracking number while marking any order as shipped?"
- Specify the shipping providers if needed
Once enabled, when marking an order as shipped, you will be prompted to enter a tracking number, which will then be included in the email notification sent to the customer.
To mark an order as shipped:
- Go to Orders
- Select the order by checking the box
- Click the three dots at the top left
- Change the order status to Shipped
- A field will appear where you can enter the tracking number
- You will see this tracking number when you expand the order details
Also, your customers will receive an order notification with this tracking number
Important Note: To send email or SMS notifications with a tracking number, you must enable notifications for changes in Order Tracking Status. This can be done under Location Settings > Order Tracking Status by checking the box next to your chosen order status (e.g., Shipped). Additionally, click the drop-down arrow next to the order status to configure the email or SMS template.
