We are excited to introduce a new feature in SalesVu that allows you to easily track the last sale date for every product in your inventory. Additionally, you can now filter products based on when they were last sold—either before or after a specific date. This enhancement helps you make informed decisions about inventory management, marketing strategies, and product promotions.
Follow the steps below to locate the 'Sale Date' filter and the 'Last Sale Date' column in the 'Manage Inventory' section.
Steps to Locate the 'Sale Date' Filter and 'Last Sale Date' Column
1. Log in to SalesVu.com Portal
- Go to SalesVu.com and enter your credentials to log in to your account.
2. Navigate to the 'Inventory' Tab
- On the left-side menu, click on the 'Inventory' tab.
- You will be directed to the 'Manage Inventory' section by default.
3. Locate the 'Sale Date' Filter
- In the 'Manage Inventory' section, look for the 'Sale Date' filter option.
4. Apply the Sale Date Filter
- Click on the 'Sale Date' filter to reveal the filtering options.
- You can choose one of the following:
- 'Before Selected Date': To view products last sold before a specific date.
- 'After Selected Date': To view products last sold after a specific date.
- Select the desired option based on your needs.
5. Select a Date
- After choosing your filter option, a date selector will appear.
- Select the date you want to use as the reference point for the filter.
- The system will now display products that match your criteria.
6. View the 'Last Sale Date' Column
- In the product list, scroll to the right to find the 'Last Sale Date' column.
- This column displays the date when each product was last sold, allowing you to assess product performance over time.
Important Note
- Default Display: If the 'Sale Date' filter is not applied, the 'Last Sale Date' column will display the most recent sale date for each product based on today's date.
