The following steps can solve the issue.
- Open the SalesVu app
- Touch the 'Settings' button (looks like a gear)
- Touch 'Sync with SalesVu.com'
- If you use the shift management screen under the piggy bank button please perform a close out. If you do not use this feature please move onto step 5
- Delete the SalesVu app from your iPad
- Turn off your iPad and turn it back on
- Re-install SalesVu
- Enter your email address and follow the steps for recovery
- Choose your card reader
- It should solve the issue you are currently experiencing
