Overview
The Accounts Receivable Report allows you to track unpaid balances, collected amounts, and outstanding balances for house accounts over a selected period. Using the Breakdown Report By option, you can customize how the data is grouped, making it easier to review balances by customer or account.
This report helps to:
Monitor outstanding receivables
Track collected vs. unpaid amounts
View account balances in a clear, structured format
How to Access the Accounts Receivable Report
Sign in to SalesVu.com
Click Reports from the left-hand menu
Under Sales & Profitability, select Open Accounts Receivable Report
Choose your Location
Select a date range
Click Go
Using Advanced Options (Breakdown Report By)
Click Advanced Options
Locate Breakdown Report By
Select one of the following options:
All – Displays all house accounts without additional grouping
By Account Payable – Groups balances by house account
By Customers – Groups balances by individual customers
Click Go to apply the selection
This allows you to tailor the report view based on how you want to analyze receivables.
Report Columns Explained
The Accounts Receivable Report includes the following columns:
House Account
Displays the name of the house account used for the transaction.Customer
Shows the customer associated with the house account.Total ($)
The total amount charged to the account within the selected date range.Total ($) Collected
The total amount that has already been collected.Outstanding Balance ($)
The remaining unpaid balance.
Totals are summarized at the bottom of the report for quick reference.
