Quick Reformat Option
1. Overview
The Quick Reformat option lets you reshape any All-in-One report—hide or reveal columns, group fields, and pivot data—then save that layout for instant reuse. No more rebuilding your pivot table every time you run the report.

3. Prerequisites
- SalesVu.com login with permission to view the All-in-One Sales & Profitability report.
- Report data must be generated (click Go) before Quick Reformat is available.
4. Enable Quick Reformat
- Log in to SalesVu.com.
- Click Reports in the left-hand menu.
- Select All-in-One Sales & Profitability.
- Generate your report by choosing filters and clicking Go.
- In the upper-right corner, click the ⚙ Settings gear.
- Toggle Enable Report Formatting to On.
- Close the settings panel.
Tip: The toggle remains on for your user profile, so you only set this once.
5. Build your layout
Action | How-to |
---|---|
Hide / show a column | Click the column header ▸ Hide Column (or Unhide from the hidden-column list). |
Group rows | Drag a column header into the Group by bar that appears above the table. |
Pivot data | Click Pivot on the toolbar. Pick the field to become columns, then Apply. |
6. Save the layout
- When the grid looks the way you want, click Save New Report Formatting on the right-hand toolbar.
- Give the format a clear name (e.g., Location + Category Pivot).
- Click Save.
7. Reuse a saved format
- Each time you open the report and click Go, choose Select Formatting on the toolbar.
- Pick any saved layout from the list—your table updates instantly.
