Overview
SalesVu AI Background Agents automatically analyze your business data in the background and surface actionable insights within Reports. Once enabled, these agents remain available from the Reports page, where you can run them on demand, review results, or adjust which agents are active.
How to Enable SalesVu AI Background Agents
1. Navigate to SalesVu.com
2. Click the AI agent / bell icon in the top-right corner
3. The SalesVu AI Agents configuration window opens
Select Agents to Enable
1. Check the agents you want to activate, such as:
Promotion Opportunity Analyst
Stock Shrinkage Analyst
PO Lead Time Analyst
Profit Margin Analyst
Cross-sales Analyst
Theft Detection Analyst
2. Click Save to enable the selected agents.
What Happens After Saving
After saving, the SalesVu AI Agents panel displays a list of all enabled agents
Only enabled agents will generate insights and display answers
Each enabled agent shows a Run Now button. Click Run Now to view the agent’s response immediately
If Run Now is not selected, the agent runs automatically every Monday, analyzing data from the previous Monday through the current Monday. New automated results will appear the next time you open the agent, indicated by a red dot next to the agent name (see the screenshot at the end of the article).
The agent analyzes your data and returns insights based on its specific function.
To modify your selection, click Edit Agent(s) and check or uncheck agents to enable or disable them
- After clicking Run Now, the agent status changes to In Progress, and its response will appear within up to 15 minutes
- Once the agent’s response is available, it will appear like this:
- Click on any agent to view the results of its analysis
