Export Format Options
Standard Label Format
The Standard Label Format creates a separate row for each barcode label
Columns Included
- Barcode
- Product Name
- Selling Price
Use Case
This format is recommended when each barcode label needs to be printed individually.
Example
If:
- Product A has Qty 2 and 2 barcodes
- Product B has Qty 3 and 1 barcode
The export will generate a separate row for every barcode label required.
Compact Label Format
The Compact Label Format groups multiple product barcodes into the same row instead of creating separate rows for each barcode.
Columns Included
- Barcode 1
- Barcode 2
- Barcode 3
- Product Name
- Selling Price
Use Case
This format is useful when you want a more compact spreadsheet and fewer rows in the exported file.
How It Works
- One row is generated for each product quantity.
- Product barcodes are placed into barcode columns.
- If a product has fewer than three barcodes, the remaining barcode columns will remain blank.
Example
If:
- Product A has Qty 2 and 2 barcodes
- Product B has Qty 3 and 1 barcode
- Product C has Qty 2 and 3 barcodes
The export will generate:
- Product A → 2 rows
- Product B → 3 rows
- Product C → 2 rows
Total: 7 rows
Important Notes
Leading Zeros in Barcodes
When opening CSV files in spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel, leading zeros in barcode values may be automatically removed.
To prevent this behavior, please follow the instructions provided in the barcode export video.
Modifier SKU and UPC Requirements
Modifier items must have an SKU or UPC assigned in order to be included correctly in the label sheet export.
For instructions on assigning SKU or UPC values to modifiers, please refer to the steps here.
