To be able to print bar code labels, first, you need to export a label sheet from your SalesVu.com account and second, you need to have a Zebra label printer. And third, you need to print it through the https://zsbportal.zebra.com/home with the help of a Zebra printer
a. How to export label sheets from your SalesVu.com account
You can export a label sheet for all of your products at once or for a specific open or closed purchase order.
Follow the steps below to export a label sheet for all products
- Login to SalesVu.com > click on 'Products & Services' on the left-hand side menu
- Select a location if you have multiple locations from the location dropdown
- Click on the arrow down icon at the right top
- Click on 'Export Label Sheet'
Please note that the exported sheet will show products enabled for inventory tracking based on their existing quantity. For example, if a 'Branded Wine Bottle' quantity is 10 under inventory, you will see this product in 10 rows within the spreadsheet. If a product is not enabled for inventory tracking or has a negative quantity, it will show up only once on the exported spreadsheet.
Follow the steps below to export a label sheet for a specific purchase order (PO)
- Login to SalesVu.com > click on 'Inventory' on the left-hand side menu
- Click on 'Purchase Orders'
- Locate the purchase order you are looking for by using different filters
- Click on the arrow down icon next to the purchase order
- Click on 'View'
- Click on 'Export Label Sheet' button at the right top
b. How to print bar code labels
1. Sing into https://zsbportal.zebra.com/
2. After you sign in you should see the following home page
3. Click on 'My Designs'
4. Click on 'Create New Design'
5. Create your design by pressing barcode, text and other icons and adding the elements to your design
6. Click on 'Connect Data File' at the right top
7. Click on 'Upload File' and select the exported label file that you exported previously based on the steps above
8. Click on an element such as barcode and select 'From Data File'
9. Follow the steps for other design elements and click on 'Printer' icon at the right top to print
