In SalesVu, you can create tag groups for your products and efficiently assign products to tags in bulk. This feature enables the seamless transfer of tags between products, streamlining the task of categorizing and organizing your products. For instance, you can establish tag groups like 'sizes' or 'colors' to enhance your product organization.
After assigning tags to your products, you can filter the All-in-one Master Report and the POS view using these tags.
To add a tag group:
1. Log into SalesVu.com
2. Click on 'Products & Services'
3. Click the 'Tag Groups' tab
4. Click 'Add Tag Group'
5. Enter the name of the group and tag names
- If you want to enable tags for your E-commerce page, select the 'Enable for Online Ordering' toggle
6. Save the changes and repeat the process for other tag groups.
To edit a tag group:
1. Click the 'Tag Groups' tab
2. Click on the drop-down arrow next to the tag group you want to edit
3. On the pop-up screen you can change its name, remove or add certain tags to this group, enable/disable it for online ordering or reports
4. Save the changes by clicking on the 'Save' button
To assign or remove tags from your products:
1. Under 'Products & Services', go to the 'Product Listing' tab
2. Select the products you want to be assigned to tags by checking the box on the left of their names
3. Click on three dots at the left corner, above your product list > click on 'Assign Tags' or 'Remove Tags'
4. On the pop-up screen, select the tags you would like to assign or remove
5. Click on 'Assign'
To filter the All-in-one report by tags:
1. On the left vertical menu click 'Reports' > 'All-in-One Sales & Profitability Master Report'

2. Click on 'Advanced Options' > 'Show Report For' > select 'Tags'
3. Choose the tags you wish to use for filtering your report
To filter Inventory report by tags
1. Click on 'Inventory', to open the inventory tab
2. You will see the 'View/Adjust' page
3. You will see you created tag groups under the 'Advanced Options' field. Please click on these fields to filter your inventory by tags
To filter Purchase Order (PO) product list when creating a PO
When creating a PO and selecting items for this PO, you can also filter them by tags.
1. Go to the 'Inventory' tab > 'Purchase Orders'
2. Add a purchase order
3. While adding items to the Purchase Order (PO), you will encounter your tag groups. Click on the relevant tag group to filter your items.
To enable tag groups for E-commerce:
1. Log into SalesVu.com
2. Click on 'Products & Services'
3. Click the 'Tag Groups' tab
4. Click on the drop-down arrow next to a tag group
5. Enable the toggle 'Enable for Online Ordering'
6. Click on 'Save'
7. Then your tag groups will display as filters on your E-commerce page, and your users will be able to filter your products with these tags
