In SalesVu, you can configure email notifications to be sent whenever a manager’s PIN is used to authorize sensitive actions (such as discounts, product deletions, or order deletions) on the POS. This feature increases visibility and helps ensure accountability for all PIN-authorized activities.
How It Works
When a manager’s PIN is entered to approve a discount or delete a product/order, the system automatically sends an email notification.
The notification is sent to the email address linked to that manager’s PIN.
This allows managers and owners to monitor activity in real-time and verify when and how their PIN is being used.
Why It’s Useful
At times, a manager’s PIN may be entered by someone else. With this feature enabled, managers receive instant alerts whenever their PIN is used, making it easier to confirm whether the action was expected or requires follow-up.
Steps to Enable
Log in to salesvu.com
Navigate to Location Settings > General Settings
Scroll to the Enable Manager PIN Authorization Email Notifications section
Check the boxes for the actions you want to track:
Product Deletion
Order Deletion
Discount Authorization
Or select all
Save changes and sync your POS app with salesvu.com
Once enabled, email notifications will be automatically sent whenever that employee’s PIN is used for the selected actions.
