Follow these steps to integrate PayPal with your SalesVu account to enable online payment processing.
Step 1: Log in to PayPal
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Once logged in, navigate to the top menu and click on the "Developer" link to access the PayPal Developer Dashboard.
3. After clicking on the "Developer" option, you will be directed to the PayPal Developer Dashboard.
4. Ensure that you are in the "Live" environment by using the toggle switch located in the top right corner of the page.
5. On the PayPal Developer Dashboard, go to the top menu.
6. Click on "Apps & Credentials" to manage and create applications for integration.
7. In the "Apps & Credentials" section, click on the "Create App" button on the right side of the screen to begin setting up a new app for integration with SalesVu.
8. In the "Create App" window, enter a name for your new app. This name should help you easily identify that the app is for accepting online payments for your e-commerce website, appointments, invoices, etc. For example, you might name it "Online Payments". Click on the "Create App" button to proceed.
9. After creating your app, it will appear in the REST API apps list under the name you provided (e.g., "Online Payments").
10. Now, locate your newly created app in the list, click on the three vertical dots on the right-hand side of the app's row and select "Edit" to configure additional settings for your app.
11. After clicking "Edit" on your newly created app, you will be directed to the API credentials page.
12. Locate and copy the "Client ID" and "Secret Key" from this page. You will need to enter these credentials into the SalesVu web portal to complete the integration.
Step 2: Enable Online Payments in SalesVu & Enter API Credentials
1. Log in to your SalesVu account at salesvu.com
2. Navigate to the "Location Settings" and then click on the drop-down arrow at the right top > "PayPal Integration" tab.
3. On the PayPal Integration page, click the "Enable Online Payments" button to initiate the connection with PayPal.
4. In the "Enable Online Payments" window that appears, paste the "Client ID" and "Secret Key" that you copied from the PayPal Developer Dashboard.
5. After entering the credentials, click the "Apply" button to save the settings and complete the integration.
