Overview
Restaurants can allow customers to leave a tip by writing it on a printed receipt after payment. This option is useful for table service environments where customers sign the receipt and add a tip manually.
How It Works
When this setting is enabled, the payment is processed first. The receipt will print with a tip line where the customer can write the tip amount and total. Staff can then finalize the transaction with the updated total.
How to Enable Tips on Printed Receipts
Log in to SalesVu.com
Go to Location Settings
Select Tips and Tabs
Find Tip Settings

Choose On Printed Receipt Only from the dropdown menu
Click Save
