The Review Booster feature helps you automatically collect customer reviews via email and SMS after a purchase. You can choose where customers are redirected to leave a review—Google, Yelp, or Facebook—customize the review request message, and even reward customers with loyalty credit for sharing their feedback.
Review Booster Settings Overview
To access Review Booster settings, follow these steps:
Go to salesvu.com
Navigate to Message Center
Click the drop-down arrow in the top-right corner
Click on Set Up Review Booster
Once you’re in Review Booster Settings, you can configure the following options:
Review Platform Link (optional)
Select the platform where you’d like customers to leave a review—Google, Facebook, or Yelp—and enter your business’s review page link. This link will be included in the review request message sent to customers.
Loyalty Credit Amount (optional)
Set the amount of loyalty credit customers will receive after submitting a review. This value can be automatically inserted into the review message.
Review Request Message
Customize the message customers receive when you ask them to leave a review. You can include dynamic variables that will be replaced with real values when the message is sent.
Dynamic Message Variables
Use the following variables to personalize your message:
Review Link – Inserts the selected review platform link
Business Name – Inserts the location or business name
Loyalty Credit Amount – Inserts the configured reward amount
Location Phone Number – Inserts the store’s phone number
Save Your Settings
Click Save to apply and activate the Review Booster configuration for the selected location.
Set the Phone Number for Review SMS Messages
To choose the phone number from which review request SMS messages will be sent:
Go to Message Center
Click the drop-down arrow in the top-right corner
Select Phone Number
Choose the correct location (if applicable)
Enter and save the preferred phone number
How Review Requests Are Sent
Once all settings are enabled, customers will receive:
An email receipt, and
An SMS message asking them to rate your service
Once customers review your business via the email, they will first be redirected to your website to leave a text review. After submitting it, they will be offered a link to leave a review on Google, Yelp, or Facebook, along with the loyalty reward (if included in your message template).
How to View and Reply to Customer Reviews
To view and respond to customer reviews:
Go to salesvu.com
Navigate to Message Center
You will see new incoming customer reviews as they are submitted. Each review includes an option to reply directly, allowing you to engage with your customers and respond to their feedback in a timely manner.
