The payment method section is where you get to determine which payment option you want to show while processing transactions.
Default payment methods
1. Log in to Salesvu.com
2. Click on "V" icon at the top of left menu and go to "Location Settings"
3. By default, it will open the "Payment Methods" tab, make sure to select the location on a dropdown at the left top.
4. The payment options on your account can be turned on or off by toggling the switch button below the different types of payments as below.
5. You can choose where they appear by checking the box "Point of Sales", "Customer Kiosk", or "Customer Display" and it will be automatically saved.
Note:
- If you accept a gift card payment in your business, the "Gift Card" payment must be turned on.
- If you use a payment processor that is not compatible with SalesVu, you can enable the "External Credit Card" method and process payments accordingly or add a custom payment option as below:
Custom payment methods
1. This can be done by clicking on the "Other Payment Methods" button at the top right
2. Click "Add New Payment Method" on a popup screen
3. On this popup screen, you can view active and inactive payment methods. These payment methods can be edited on the same screen as well.

How to Assign Payment Methods to Customers
In SalesVu, you can assign specific Other Payment Methods to customer profiles. When these customers are selected during checkout, only the payment methods assigned to them will be displayed, instead of showing all available Other Payment Methods.
Steps to Assign a Payment Method to Customers
Go to Other Payment Methods
Click Assign Payment Method to Customers
You will be redirected to the Customer Listing page
Select the customer(s) by checking the box to the left of their name
Click the three-dot menu in the top corner
Select Assign Payment Method
Choose the payment method(s) you want to assign > click on Assign Payment Methods
Save your changes
How It Works at Checkout
When placing an order, select the assigned customer profile
Click Other Payment Methods
Only the payment methods assigned to that customer will be visible and available
This allows you to control which payment methods can be used by specific customers.
Note: Once you make any changes, please sync your app: Open the SalesVu app > go to "Settings" (gear icon) on the right top > tap on "Sync with SalesVu.com".
