In SalesVu, the Pre-Capture feature allows you to save tip adjustments before finalizing transactions. This feature is particularly useful for businesses where a manager reviews tip adjustments before confirming the transactions.
To add tips follow the steps below:
1. On the main POS view, touch on the Orders icon, locate the order of your choice and touch on it to select it
2. In the upper-left corner you will see the pre-authorization icon; touch on it
3. On the pop-up screen, enter the tip amount and:
- Select 'Save' to save tip adjustments if you don't want to capture it yet
- Select 'Save & Capture' to capture the tip amount
