A location's manager is notified (when a Time-off Request or a Shift-Trade Request is made) depending upon the Manager(s) Notification Settings. This article also provides you with how to configure managers' notification settings. First, assigning a manager to a location can be done as follows:
1. Log in to SalesVu.com
2. Click "Employees" on the left sidebar menu
3. Click on the "V" dropdown on the top right and select the "Locations Manager(s) option
4. Click on the "V" icon next to the location of your choice, and hit "Assign/Un-assign Manager(s)"
5. Check the box next to an employee you want to set up as a location manager and save this change.
Now, let's look at how to set up the notification settings of a manager.
1. On the same page (Location Manager), click the "V" menu next to the "Print" button
2. You can select "Send Notification(s) to Location Manager(s)" option or "Send Notification(s) to Manager(s) of Employee" - Quick overview to assign the manager to your employees
