The SalesVu POS app allows you to split your orders by amount or product.
To split an order by amount
1. Start a new order on your POS app and add products or services to the order
2. Tap on 'Pay'
3. Tap on 'Split Payment’
4. Tap on ‘Split by Amount’
5. Enter the first amount of your choice or select the 'equally' option if the split is even and tap on 'Pay'
Important Note: You can add more splits by tapping on the 'Add' button
6. Select the payment method (cash, credit card, etc.)
7. A completed transaction screen will appear. You may now send a receipt via SMS, Email or select ‘Done’ to skip.
8. A remaining balance due will be displayed
9. Select ‘Pay’ and enter the amount of the second split > touch on 'Pay'
10. A completed transaction screen will appear. You may now send a receipt via SMS, Email or select ‘Done’ to skip.
11. Repeat the same process until the order has been completely paid
To split an order by-product:
1. Start a new order on your POS app and add products or services to the order
2. Tap on 'Pay'
3. Tap on 'Split Payment’
4. Tap on ‘Split by Products’
6. Drag and drop the products into each ticket accordingly (note: dragging multiple products at the same time can be completed by tapping on every product name first)
Important Note: If necessary, add more splits by selecting the “+” icon.
7. Tap on 'Load'
8. Tap on 'Pay'
