Event mode is a new sales channel that will help you sell directly to customers during specific events via POS. You will have the opportunity to generate profit, earn new customers, or associate your brand with a cause or an organization during conferences, pop-up shows, fairs, or similar shows. After the event, you will be able to run reports that will show you specifically sold items during the event. You will also be able to see reports under the inventory for the event
Cash Event Mode: In this event mode, you will sell products to your customers during the event. Inventory will be tracked for sold items during and after the event. As an example, you can sell merch to guests attending a conference.
Requirements of Cash Event Mode:
1. Please make sure to subscribe with SalesVu Premium Bundle.
2. Please contact support to Enable Event Mode.

3. You must have valid time slots, and While creating time slots, "Event Type" must be selected as "Cash Event " Please follow the link to how to add time slots: How to Create Time Slots
Cash Event Mode
Once you complete the Event Mode requirements, please follow these steps:
1. Click on Inventory from the left-hand menu
2. Click on "Event Inventory" from the top
3. Click on the drop-down menu next to the event name and Select "Set Inventory"
4. Enter Start QTY
Important Note: In case of cash events used quantity, and remaining quantity will be calculated automatically when orders are placed from the SalesVu POS app under event mode.
5. Click on Save All and Confirm it by clicking on "Yes"
7. You are all set!
Once you have followed these steps, please sync your SalesVu POS and continue to activate the Event Mode in SalesVu POS:
1. Open SalesVu Apps and Tap on Gear Icon (Settings) and Select "Switch Event Mode"
2. Select Event from the list
3. You are all set!
Important Note: When orders are placed from the SalesVu POS app under event mode, events use quantity, and the remaining quantity will be calculated automatically.
Important Note: When the Event Mode is activated, you can follow all the orders placed in the event from the Orders Report.
Closing Event Mode
Once the event is done. Please follow these steps to close the event:
1.Login to SalesVu.com
2. Click on Inventory from the left-hand menu
3. Click on Event Inventory from the top
4. Click on the drop-down menu next to the event name and Select "Set Inventory"
5. Click on "Close Event" at the right top and Confirm it
6. Click on "OK," and You are all set!
