In SalesVu, you have an option to apply additional charges based on the number of items (quantity) in an order. This allows you to charge per item for scenarios such as packaging fees, handling fees, or other per-unit service charges.
How to Configure Additional Charges Based on Quantity
To configure quantity-based additional charges:
- Sign in to salesvu.com
- Click the 'V' menu next to your name (top left) and select Location Settings
- Open Additional Charges
- Click New Additional Charge or edit an existing one
- Enter charge details:
- Select Charge For: Products
- Name (e.g. “per item packaging fee”)
- Charge type (percentage or flat amount)
- Charge value
- Select Apply Method: Automatic
Enable “Apply Per Quantity”
- Click Save
Behavior When Enabled
When “Apply based on quantity” is enabled:
- The additional charge is applied for each item quantity in the order
- Formula:
Total Additional Charge = Charge Value × Total Quantity in Order
