Overview
The blind shift workflow includes the ability for employees to enter the Cash Remaining in Drawer during shift closeout.
This helps improve over/short calculations and provides more accurate cash reconciliation.
How It Works
On the POS app, tap the piggy bank icon and tap the Deposit to Safe option
- Tap the calculator/grid icon next to the Cash Deposit field
- Enter the quantity of bills and coins and click on 'Confirm Count'
- The system automatically calculates the total amount
The calculated amount is automatically populated into the deposit field.
