SalesVu allows taking deposits on SalesVu POS.
Please follow the steps to take deposits from SalesVu POS:
Note: In this example, we will use an order total of $100 and place a $50 deposit.
1. Open the SalesVu POS and add any products and services of your choice (assign a customer to the order if necessary). In this case, we will add a product for $100.00 and tap on 'Pay'
2. Tap on 'Split Payment'
3. Select 'Deposit by amount' and enter the first payment amount (deposit amount) of your choice for $50.00
4. Tap on 'Pay' and process the payment (cash, credit card, etc)
Important Note: The SalesVu POS will leave the order in the 'open' status as a remaining balance is due.
5. If the customer plans to pay later, tap on the 'Orders' icon and select 'New Order' to skip it. Otherwise, you can tap on 'Pay' and process the payment for the remaining balance
