There are 2 main errors causing syncing problem:
1. Wrong Password:
Make sure that in the sync section you are using the password directly from your salesvu.com account (make sure you do not copy any spaces at the beginning or end of the password).
2. Enable Tax:
You need to enable tax in your QuickBooks account. To access see the steps below:
- Click 'Edit'
- Click 'Preferences'
- Click 'Sales Tax' on the left hand side
- Click the 'Company Preferences Tab'
- Select 'Yes' next to 'Do you charge sales tax'
Please keep in mind that once you have a successful sync from SalesVu to QB, you cannot make changes to the chart of accounts, products, or customers from Quickbooks. You will need to make these changes in SalesVu and then perform a new sync.
